genromfs software package provides This is the mkfs equivalent for romfs filesystem, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install genromfs
genromfs is installed in your system.
Make ensure the genromfs package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep genromfs *
You will get with genromfs package name, version, architecture and description in a table
